Today we're releasing version 2 of the Airtable connector, our most-requested update since launch.
What's new
- Hourly snapshots on every paid plan. Previously, backups ran once a day. Now Silver and Gold plans capture your bases every hour, giving you a much tighter recovery window.
- Schema-change detection. When a field is renamed, retyped, or deleted, Backup247 now flags it immediately and keeps the previous schema alongside the new one so you can always restore into the old structure.
- Field-level visual diff. The restore screen now shows a side-by-side diff at the field level, so you can confirm exactly what changed before committing a restore.
Why it matters
Airtable's own Snapshots feature keeps base history for 2 weeks on Free, up to 1 year on Team, and 2 to 3 years on Business and Enterprise, and it always restores the entire base into a new base, so it won't help you if a Make automation overwrites 4,000 records in a loop. Backup247 captures the full state of every base, every hour, encrypted and stored outside Airtable's infrastructure.
How to upgrade
Existing connectors are upgraded automatically. If you're on the Bronze plan and want hourly snapshots, upgrade to Silver or Gold in Settings, Billing.
